In 2009, the Province of New Brunswick and the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce partnered to pilot the Business Immigrant Mentorship Program (BIMP). With the help of other economic development agencies, BIMP has since expanded to Saint John, Moncton, Bathurst, and Edmundston.
In celebration of the 10th year this program has been helping newcomer entrepreneurs, we decided to rebrand and rename the program to Business Immigrant Essentials (BIE). We’ve come to realize the importance of delivering the essentials skills on how to do business in New Brunswick and the benefits of the large network that is available through the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce.
